Beth Howard, blogger, TV producer, Tenant of American Gothic House, owner of the Pitchfork Pie Stand, and writer, will be at Austin Bookpeople Tuesday, May 8 to promote her book Making Piece – a memoir of love, loss and pie. There will be a book signing and pie will be served!

Beth was kind enough to give a shout out to my blog when I first started baking pies and has been kind in giving guidance in the art of the crust. Of which, I still have my hit-and-miss moments.
